Right now, the Pre-game show is running through a rather gloriously well-produced recitation of the Declaration of Independence by a variety of people connected to the NFL (Peyton Manning, Paul Tagliabue, Steve Largent, Mrs. Pat Tillman).

As a good Canadian, the text continues to invoke a measure of horror. Break from the crown? Pledge your lives to a cause? Seems rather . . . extreme.

Gotta dig up a project. Right now this site's makeover is at the tidying and debugging and gardening level. That and I'd better change the colour scheme.

Bike-wise, I have about a month to assemble a functioning road bike, which will probably be my poor old Pinarello at this point. But other than that, no news is . . . not news.

Oh yeah. All the appliances in our kitchen are slowly turning to stainless steel. Cruel fun with stainless steel: ask someone to move all the fridge magnets to the new fridge!
